In 2021, 14,000 people were left homeless, without food or shelter, due to catastrophic landslides.
Those displaced were extremely vulnerable, following the devastating floods and landslides that began on the 4th April 2021.
The Timorese government announced their relief packages, which focussed on the capital city of Dili, due to budget and information-gathering constraints. In response, we launched a plan to reach the farming communities in need across the country.
